How Old Is The Cast Of And Just Like That

Okay, let’s talk about And Just Like That. You know, the show that brought our favorite Manhattanites back from the dead? The one where we all collectively gasped when Big had that fateful Peloton ride?

Well, now we’re three seasons in, and I keep asking myself: how old is this cast, actually? Are they aging like fine wine, or like milk left out on a hot sidewalk? Spoiler: it’s mostly wine.

The Queens of the Core Four

First up, Sarah Jessica Parker. Our girl Carrie Bradshaw is somewhere around 57 in the show’s timeline. But in real life, SJP hit the big 5-9 this year. Fifty-nine! And she’s still sprinting down Manhattan sidewalks in heels that cost more than my rent. I’m not mad; I’m impressed.

Then we have Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda Hobbes. She’s 58 in real life. Remember when Miranda was the cynical, red-haired lawyer with a chip on her shoulder? Now she’s a reformed, sober, sexually-fluid human. Cynthia’s just out here proving that 58 is the new 40. Or at least the new 45.

Kristin Davis is Charlotte York-Goldenblatt. She’s been playing the uptight Princess for decades. In real life, Kristin is 59. Yes, 59. She looks like she’s been preserved in a vat of collagen and good skincare. How does she do it? I’m taking notes.

The New Blood (And the Not-So-New)

Let’s not forget the other OG. Mario Cantone (Anthony) is 65. He’s still delivering one-liners with the ferocity of a New York pigeon. And David Eigenberg (Steve) is 60. He’s still sweet, still adorable, and still dealing with Miranda’s nonsense. A saint, really.

Now, the kids. Alexa Swinton (Rock) is only 15 in real life. Playing a teenager? Easy. Meanwhile, Cathy Ang (Lily) is 20. These young ones make me feel ancient. But hey, they keep the show from turning into a retirement home special.

And we can’t skip Sara Ramírez (Che Diaz). They’re 49. Che brings that chaotic “cool aunt” energy. Whether you love them or hate them, you have to admit they’re doing something right at 49. Also, they’re non-binary and fabulous, which is a win for everyone.

The Golden Girls of Manhattan

Let’s talk about the legends. John Corbett (Aidan) is 63. He showed up again to sweep Carrie off her feet, and frankly, he’s aged like a fine whiskey. Rugged, warm, and a little bit dangerous. I’m here for it.

Then there’s Kristen Schaal (Bitsy von Muffling). She’s 47. Bitsy is still hosting parties that cost more than a small house. Kristen brings this weird, wonderful energy that’s part Muppet, part socialite. Love her.

Oh, and Nicky Katt (Harry Goldenblatt’s friend? I forget). He’s 54. Look, the men are aging too. Some gracefully, some like they’ve been through a divorce. Nicky falls into the “gracefully” category, if you spotted him.

The Dead and the Missing

We have to mention the ghosts. Chris Noth (Mr. Big) is 69 in real life. But his character is dead, so... awkward. And Kim Cattrall (Samantha) is 67. She cameoed via text messages, which is basically a digital royal wave. I miss her. We all miss her. But she’s living her best life, probably sipping a martini in London. Good for her.

Also, Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch) passed away at 57. His absence is a sad, gaping hole in the show. But we remember him every time someone says “bitchy” with love.

So, What’s the Takeaway?

The cast of And Just Like That ranges from 15 to 69 years old. That’s a span of 54 years. And yet, they all vibe together. It’s like a weird, fabulous, Manhattan-based family reunion.

Are they too old for some of the storylines? I don’t know. Are 60-year-old women having threesomes with podcast producers? Probably not in my zip code. But who cares? It’s TV. It’s fantasy. And it’s nice to see people over 40 having sex, arguing, and buying ridiculous shoes.

So next time you watch, just remember: they’re all older than you think. And they’re all still fabulous. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go buy some retinol. And maybe a pair of Manolos. You know, for when I’m 59.
